Good Stuff...

Ok so, hope you didn't have to be out on the highways this weekend - they weren't very friendly. The freezing rain and then snow was a bit much for some motorists who found themselves attracted to the ditches. I have to say though, it sure feels good to be out of our deep freeze! Couldn't keep from going for a walk today in the fresh snow - quite refreshing after being cooped up for so long - made for a pretty good workout too :) "Bring back the springtime!"
The kids came over and we made a pizza feast for supper....good stuff indeed!! Afterwards we all
went over to K&S's to watch "Flyboys", a war movie based on a true story. It was a good movie, but couldn't help but feel thankful for all the freedoms we have today - some don't share that luxury.

I'm assuming K and S is Keith and Stacy, 'cause if you were here I sure didn't notice you!

What kind of pizzas did you make?
I'm looking for some new pizza ideas.

LOL...didn't think of K&S possibly meaning you, but we'd love to come for a movie...call us anytime :)
Oh, the pizza's....loaded...with BBQ chicken, ham, sausage, bacon, onion, gr pepper and tomato. Of course the other two had less toppings according to other preferences. I was worried there'd be too many toppings, but they were yummy!!

Sounds Delish! How do you do the bbq chicken? Literally bbq chicken breasts with bbq sauce, and then slice it up and put it on the pizza?

yep...I saute the chicken in BBQ sauce until cooked and the BBQ sauce has just evaporated from the pan - but don't let it get dry. It's really good with pineapple as well.

Oh...and I slice the chicken while raw and saute the pieces - that way there's more flavour absorbed :)

I really like your dining room color! Trying to convince Dave that we need a new paint job. He's not too keen on the idea. Painting is a lot of work but so nice in the end. Looking forward to seeing the "results of your hard labor" :)

Thanks Kathy. I really like the warmth of it as well. There are so many beautiful colours to choose from - go crazy girl!! :) If I had time I'd come help you paint. Can't wait to get started on the 'real' renos around here!
