Added recipe

As promised, albeit rather late, I have finally added the recipe for the pretzels (on the sidebar under "In the kitchen"). So, if you enjoy the recipe or have variation suggestions, I would love to hear from you.

Also, somewhere in the near future I'm going to be doing my own giveaway, some Pampered Chef - so we'll see who actually reads this blog. It's time to come out of the woodwork and make yourself known. I really would love to know who you are. Not too scary really, and who knows, you might win something. So....KEEP WATCHING! Once I SEE that I have a few people interested, I'll reveal what Pampered Chef product I'll be giving away. Since I'm a consultant, it could be just about anything. Suggestions?

Reading your previous post ... those types of stories are so sad, realizing the physical and emotional scars that will be left behind. It would be hard to deal with always thinking, "If only.." I will pray for little Matthew and his family.

As for today's post ~ I'll have to try out your recipes, Sara -- they look so delicious!!

BTW I do read your blog. It's always very well done. I just don't always comment. I enjoy catching up on all the blogs (family amd friends) but sometimes I have phases where I don't read them for a few days. Life just gets busy or something. One can spend a lot of time on the computer once you get started (Facebook too).

Hope you're doing well :) Happy Valentines Day!

I also meant to comment on Pampered Chef - I have the Mini-serving spatula -- I love that little thing. Unfortunately, mine wore out and the handle came off, but I like it so much I kept it and still use it without the handle. I would so much like to have a new one (maybe two).:)

Hi Sara. Like Brenda I read the blogs but don't always comment. They are a nice way to keep up with what's happening in friends' and families' lives around the world, but there are only so many hours in a day so the "checking up" is not so frequent.
Pamperes Chef is great but I only have the spatulas, potato peeler and a few other little things and I have not been to a party in a long time, so I have no idea what's available. So, whatever you're giving away, I probably don't have it.
